The Olive Free Library in West Shokan NY will conclude it’s 2024 concert season at 4PM Saturday, June 15th.


Closing the prestigious three concert series (8th season) will be an additional fourth concert. Curated by the prize winning American composer George Tsontakis the series has engaged Pianist Justin Kolb. The acclaimed artist will present a program with music by: Robert Starer, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Claude Debussy, Francisco Mignone, Ernesto Lecuona, Robert Cucinotta, and Alberto Ginastera. (Tangos, Fantasies, an Argentinian Sonata and more.)


The NY Times, Chicago Tribune, local media, and the European Press have lauded Kolb’s performances. His performances include commentary with tales from “the road” and often are humorous. [Tix: $10.00]

Clavier magazine featured Kolb on its cover with an inside feature about his motivational "kids clinics". The NY Times [Alex Ross] and Chicago Tribune [John von Rhein] laud his American music performances and Albany Records retains Kolb on its artist’s roster. A Co-Founder, Justin serves as Chairman Emeritus, "Phoenicia International Festival of the Voice", (Now the Hudson Valley Int’l Festival of the Voice, and Executive Secretary of the American Liszt Society. He is an Army veteran, and recipient of the Army Legion of Merit. He has also received the Distinguished Alumni Award, from DePaul University. Kolb founded Cellular America, and served as CEO and President. The company’s stock traded on the NASDAQ stock exchange.
